Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about working with White Door Photography

  • Pricing is based on the scope of your project — number of rooms, access requirements, and how you'll use the images.

Share your brief and I'll send you a clear, transparent proposal with no hidden costs. I offer packages to suit different needs and budgets.

  • You'll receive proofs within 2-3 days and final edited images within 5-10 business days. All images come web-optimised and print-ready, organised by room. Rush delivery is available with advance notice for urgent projects.

Real Estate images have a 48-hour turnaround, and overnight delivery can be arranged on request.

  • Yes, I regularly photograph properties across South East Queensland including Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Noosa. I also travel to Sydney and Melbourne for the right projects. Travel costs are included in quotes for areas outside Brisbane.

  • All packages include web and print usage rights for your business or property. You'll receive both web-optimised and high-resolution files, plus a simple licence summary explaining exactly how you can use the images — no legal jargon.

  • Light styling touch-ups are included in all shoots — I'll tidy cushions, adjust lighting, remove any clutter.

For larger styling requirements, I can recommend experienced stylists I work with regularly across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

For product photography, I can offer both styling services and shooting.

  • I arrive on time with all equipment and work efficiently to minimise disruption. I'm calm on site, treat your space like my own (shoes off!), and handle all the technical details. Most residential shoots take 2-4 hours, depending on the scope. If you or your clients could benefit from a pre-shoot checklist, please let me know.

  • I'm very flexible with scheduling changes and understand that projects can shift. We'll reschedule to suit your timeline and keep the process easy and stress-free. Just give me as much notice as possible.

  • I specialise in residential, commercial and accommodation photography. This includes homes, renovations, offices, retail spaces, Airbnb properties, hotels, and architectural projects. I also offer drone photography, floorplans and virtual tours as add-on services.

  • I work primarily with natural light & flash, to light up interiors, and Photoshop can change dull skies; however, if rain or extreme weather affects the shoot, we'll reschedule — I'd rather wait for the right conditions than compromise on quality.

  • I recommend booking as soon as possible for standard projects coming up in the next 2-4 weeks, though I can often accommodate shorter notice. For peak periods (end of financial year, spring property season), earlier booking ensures you get your preferred dates/times.
